An in vitro study was conducted with the postbiotic in the Laboratory of „Experimental Chemotherapy of Influenza“ at the Department of Virology, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. (See the study here)

In a controlled environment, scientists exposed live samples of Influenza type A (the severe H1N1 and H3N2 strains) and Human Coronavirus to direct contact with the postbiotic.

The study shows that the reduction in infectivity reaches critically high levels:

Up to Δlg 4.5 for the H3N2 influenza strain and up to Δlg 4.4 for H1N1.

A significant effect is also observed with the human coronavirus OC43, with its ability to infect reduced by Δlg 1.5 after 60 minutes of contact.
